Step 2: Customize Your Furniture

Select Your Wood: All of furniture is made from 100% solid American hardwood. Any piece can be made in any wood and any wood can be stained in any color. We offer a variety of woods to fit any style, preference and budget. Wood options include oak, maple, cherry, elm, walnut and hickory as well as rustic varieties. Not sure which wood to select? Check out this guide to choosing the right wood for you.

Select Your Size: For tables it is important to consider how many people you’d like to seat on a daily basis and if you’d like to be able to expand the table for special occasions by adding leaves. Check out our guide to selecting the right table size for you here. If you need a custom size not available on our website, please reach out and we will work with our crafters to accommodate you. For beds, we offer everything in queen, king, and California king on our website and can also make full and twin size upon request.

Select Your Upholstery Type (if applicable): For furniture that includes upholstery, you will need to select if you’d like standard fabric, performance fabric, ultra leather (faux leather), or top grain leather before finalizing your purchase, as these different options come with different price points. Learn about our different upholstery types here. Customers do not need to confirm their upholstery color/print selections until after placing an order with us and receiving any requested samples (see step 4).

Step 3: Check Out

You can finalize your purchase on our website and pay via e-check, PayPal, or credit card. There is a 1% discount for e-check. We also offer financing through Klarna. If you have any issues with checkout, please call or text us immediately at 732-844-9976 and we will personally walk you through it.

Step 4: Order Wood Stain and/or Upholstery Samples

This step can be completed before checkout, but it is not required.  Most of our customers prefer to receive samples before finalizing their stain and upholstery decisions. While customers are always welcome to order samples before making a purchase with us, we do encourage customers to place their order first and then request samples. This confirms your place in line with our crafters, which will avoid any unnecessary delays in completing your furniture. Customers who have already placed an order with us can request up to 5 samples per piece of furniture free of charge, we just ask that you send them back to us when you are done with them. See our sample stain options here and upholstery options here.

Step 5: Our crafters build your furniture

All our furniture is made-to-order by Amish crafters in PA and Ohio. Learn more about the Amish’s rich history and expertise here:  Each piece of furniture, depending on the design and crafter, has a slightly different timeline for completion, but typically it takes 8-14 weeks. We will keep you informed of your individual timeline; feel free to reach out anytime for an update. Our furniture goes through a meticulous process to ensure it lasts a lifetime. See our crafters in action here.

Step 6: Receive Your Furniture!

All our furniture comes standard with white glove delivery, which means our shipping partners will deliver it to your room of choice, set it up, and clean up any shipping debris. Remember that our furniture is made from natural wood so there will be minor imperfections that give your furniture character, such as knots, color variations, and small filled holes. Each individual piece of wood also takes stain slightly differently, so minor differences in stain hue throughout the piece are also expected and normal. But if you see any defects, scratches or cracks that may have occurred during the shipping process, or anything about your order is incorrect, please inform our shipping partners in person and us (via phone or text) immediately. It is very important to us that you are 100% happy with your furniture and we will do whatever is needed to correct any issues. Learn more about preparing for your delivery here.

We hope you will enjoy your heirloom furniture for generations! To make sure that it stays in great shape we recommend that you follow our furniture care guidelines. We also offer a lifetime guarantee on our craftsmanship.
